Description

Radio thermal detection needs somewhere to sit, and B501RF is the base built for the 52051E-RF and 52051RE-RF heads. Fitting is by twist action: the alignment mark meets the bulge on the base, then a clockwise turn seats the sensor.

Security comes from a tab the installer twists off towards the centre of the base. Once that is done a tool is required before the sensor will come away, and the job is carried out with a small-bladed screwdriver pushing the plastic in the direction of the arrow. Any head lifted from its base sends an alert message through the gateway to the CIE.

B501RF is the wireless detector base that the 52051E-RF and 52051RE-RF wireless thermal fire sensors plug into, giving those battery operated radio devices their fixing point on an addressable fire system working through the M200G-RF radio gateway. A sensor head goes on by lining the mark on the head up with the bulge on the base and turning it clockwise. An anti-tamper feature is set by breaking the tab at the dotted line, twisting towards the centre of the base, after which the head cannot be taken off without a tool and a small-bladed screwdriver is needed to release it. Taking a head off signals an alert message to the CIE via the gateway.
