Description
WSO-WW-RF is the white radio wall sounder, a battery powered two stage sounder module built around a wireless RF transceiver.
Three volume settings are offered, Low, Medium and High, and the sounder leaves the factory set to HIGH, with tone 8 as the default first stage and tone 2 as the second. The enclosure is rated IP21 and the humidity range is 5% to 95% (non-condensing).
WSO-WW-RF is a battery operated radio wall mounted sounder in white, pairing a two stage sounder module and a wireless RF transceiver, designed for use with the M200G-RF radio gateway, part of the Series 200 RF range. It seats in a standard B501RF wireless base. Volume and tone settings are chosen through the AgileIQ™ application software, and the second stage tone, which relates to the first stage tone, is controlled by the fire panel via the RF Gateway.
Tones at the low volume setting are not approved to EN54-3. It conforms to EN54-3 and EN54-25, and complies with the requirements of 2014/53/EU for conformance with the RED directive. It comes from System Sensor Europe, Life Safety Distribution GmbH.
Radio operation is on 865-870 MHz with a channel width of 250kHz, RF output power is 14dBm (max) and typical range in free air is 500m. Maximum time to normal RF communication from device power on is 35s. Spacing between radio system devices must be a minimum of 1m.

The loop address is set with two rotary decade switches on the underside, choosing a number between 01 and 159, the count available depending on panel capability, and the device occupies one sensor address on the loop. A base feature, once activated, stops the sounder being taken off without a tool, and a head removal alert reaches the CIE through the Gateway. Tones at the low volume setting are not approved to EN54-3; the sounder conforms to EN54-3 and EN54-25.

Power is four Duracell Ultra123 or Panasonic Industrial 123 cells on a 2.5-3.3 V Direct Current supply, drawing at most 120 mA average (High Volume Tone 20). Batteries from different manufacturers should not be mixed, and when they are changed all 4 will need to be replaced. Using these battery products for long periods at temperatures below -20°C can reduce the battery life considerably, by up to 30% or more, and there is a possible explosion risk if an incorrect type is used.
