The Gent VSRPT-MRC-72 is the replacement Master Repeat Card (MRC) Mark-4, supplied with a protective cover for installation into an EN/BS Repeat panel or A3 Mimic panel wired onto a loop of an EN or BS fire alarm control panel. It uses a 3.15A(T) mains fuse, an FS3 2A(QB) fuse and a 12V 7Ah battery, with rotary switch SW3 set to position 4 and a factory write-protected, buzzer-disable default configuration.
Technical overview
The VSRPT-MRC-72 is the Gent by Honeywell replacement Master Repeat Card (MRC) Mark-4, part of the Vigilon Plus Mimics and Repeats range. As a Repeat Panel spare, it restores master repeat capability within a Gent Vigilon installation. It is intended for installation into an EN/BS Repeat panel or an A3 Mimic panel that is wired onto a loop of an EN or BS fire alarm control panel.
Compatibility is limited to system control panels fitted with the newer shorter Loop Processor Card, and the host panel must run software of V4.19 or higher, or 3.90 or higher. In a Repeat panel application the ribbon connections route through to the DKC, while the Mimic panel configuration supports lamp test. The card is designed to the EN54 and BS5839 standards and supersedes the earlier 2534-115.
