Description
The Gent VIGPLUS-RPT is a Vigilon Plus repeat panel that displays fire-system events and provides essential controls at a second location. It connects to the device loop and has its own mains supply with battery standby. The backlit screen has eight lines of forty characters, alongside 32 fire-zone LEDs and system status indicators. A lockable door keeps the controls behind a key while leaving the indications visible. With the door shut, Next and Previous let users move through fire events. The panel is supplied in black and can be surface or semi-flush mounted, with cable entry at the top and rear. One 12V 7Ah battery is ordered separately.

The VIGPLUS-RPT provides a second location for reading fire-system events and operating essential controls. It connects to the Vigilon device loop, with a separate mains-derived supply and standby from one 12V 7Ah battery, ordered separately. It is compatible with Vigilon Plus and Compact Plus systems at the required host-card software versions.
The backlit LCD has eight lines with forty characters on each line. Alongside it are 32 fire-zone LEDs and indications for fire, verify, sounder, power, fault, power fault, system fault, delay, test and disablement. Fire-routing active and fault or disablement indications operate with the compatible fire-routing host system. Delay-block countdown is displayed at the main panel running the delay and is not shown on the repeat display.
The outer door locks over the controls while leaving the indicators visible. With the door closed, Next and Previous operate during a fire condition. Opening the door gives access to Sound Alarms, Silence Alarms, Reset, Cancel Buzzer, Verify, F1 to F4, Menu On/Off and U1 to U4. The user-function and Verify controls depend on their configuration at the main control panel.
The enclosure is designed for surface or semi-flush mounting. Semi-flush installation uses an optional surround and a wall opening 380mm high by 320mm wide, at least 59mm deep. Four top and four rear cable entry points are available, with three earth points inside the backbox. Cable tails are left at 400mm. The panel measures 403mm high, 338mm wide and 101mm deep.
For a Plus host using short cards with fire routing, MCC or MCB software must be V4.54 or later and LPC software V4.48 or later. For legacy hosts using short cards without fire routing, the minimum versions are MCC V4.11, MCB V4.21 and LPC V4.19. The repeat display uses SW3 position 4. The local buzzer is enabled when commissioning is complete, and the configured indications and controls are tested.

What can be operated from the VIGPLUS-RPT?
With the outer door open, the repeat provides Sound Alarms, Silence Alarms, Reset, Cancel Buzzer and Verify controls, plus the menu and function keys. U1 to U4 and Verify need configuration at the main control panel. With the door closed, Next and Previous remain available during a fire condition to move through the displayed fire events. What is checked during commissioning?
The host-card firmware is checked against the applicable Plus or legacy shorter-card configuration, and SW3 is set to position 4 for the eight-line repeat display. The display test checks the LEDs. Fire indications, Sound Alarms, Silence Alarms and Reset are tested, along with configured Verify and U1 to U4 functions. The local buzzer is enabled when commissioning is complete. Local mains and battery failure tests also check that the repeat gives the associated fault indications.
