The Xtralis VSP-990-NYLON-BLK is a black nylon microbore tube for VESDA-E VEA aspirating smoke detection systems, supplied on a 100 m roll with a 6 mm external and 4 mm internal bore and graduated in white ink every 0.5 metre. Rated to a maximum working pressure of 600 kPa across -20 to 60C (non-condensing), it offers high chemical resistance and low moisture absorption for dimensional stability, with strong tensile and impact resistance.
Technical overview
VSP-990-NYLON-BLK is the Xtralis black nylon microbore tube for VESDA-E VEA aspirating smoke detection systems, wound onto a 100 m roll with a 6 mm outside and 4 mm inside diameter. White-ink graduations at every 0.5 metre let installers measure runs straight off the roll when routing tube to sampling points.
Nylon gives the tube strong resistance to a wide variety of chemicals, while low moisture absorption preserves dimensional stability over time. Tensile and impact resistance stay high even at sub-zero temperatures, and working pressure is rated up to 600 kPa within a -20 °C to 60 °C non-condensing operating window.
A matched accessory set completes microbore runs: the VSP-979 tube cutter, VSP-998 6 mm blanking plugs, the VSP-1000 6 mm to 4 mm reducer, VSP-1001 straight unions, VSP-1003 90-degree elbows and the VSP-1005 4 mm to 6 mm sampling point tube converter. Recommended host detectors include the VESDA-E VEA-040-A00 and VEA-040-A10.
