The VSP-620-01 is a Tamper Proof Sampling Point (TPSP) Model 2, a flush-mount aspirating smoke detection sampling point that uses a gland fitting to 0.23" (6 mm) OD flexible micro-bore capillary tubing. Manufactured in SUS304 stainless steel for strong heat and corrosion resistance, it combines a tamper-proof design with a serviceable mesh inlet. At 2.55" (65 mm) high, it delivers discreet capillary sampling where a concealed inlet is required.
Technical overview
VSP-620-01 is an Xtralis Tamper Proof Sampling Point (TPSP) Model 2 for aspirating smoke detection, terminating 6 mm OD flexible micro-bore capillary tubing at a concealed, tamper-proof sampling position.
Capillary connection is made through a gland fitting, and the inlet adapter screws into the assembly, which is why the installed height of the point varies with how deep the adapter has been taken. Air drawn through the point travels back to a centrally and remotely mounted aspirating smoke detector for convenient testing and maintenance.
Construction is SUS304 stainless steel, chosen for its heat and corrosion resistance, and the mesh inlet is serviceable. Physical pipe and capillary connection detail, including the gland fitting to the micro-bore tubing, sits in the installation manual. Among the recommended alternatives, VSP-620-02 covers 8 mm capillary, VSP-620-03 covers 10 mm, and VSP-610 is the option for standard 25 mm pipe.
