The VSP-620-03 is a Tamper Proof Sampling Point (TPSP) Model 2, a flush-mount aspirating smoke detection sampling point with a gland fitting to 0.39" (10 mm) OD flexible micro-bore capillary tubing. Manufactured from SUS304 stainless steel for heat and corrosion resistance, it pairs a tamper-proof design with a serviceable mesh inlet and stands 2.95" (75 mm) high for concealed capillary sampling.
Technical overview
VSP-620-03 carries the largest capillary bore of the Xtralis Tamper Proof Sampling Point (TPSP) Model 2, accepting 10 mm OD flexible micro-bore tubing where the catalogue's other two versions take 6 mm and 8 mm. As with the rest of the Model 2 line, the tubing enters through a gland fitting on a tamper-proof, flush-mount body.
The point is designed for use within aspirating smoke detection systems that provide active sampling and flow monitoring of a protected environment, with the detector mounted centrally and remotely rather than at the sampled position.
Material is stainless steel, with the SUS304 grade singled out for heat and corrosion resistance, and the mesh inlet is a serviceable part. Recommended alternatives within the family are VSP-620-01 and VSP-620-02, the 6 mm and 8 mm capillary versions of the same sampling point.
