The VESDA VLF-500-00 is a laser based aspirated smoke detector for small, critical environments, and it monitors areas up to 500 m². Supply Voltage 24 VDC nominal, IP Rating IP30, weight 2 kg, single pipe length 50 m max.

VLF-500-00 is the VESDA VLF-500 early warning air sampling smoke detector. It incorporates world leading VESDA very early warning laser based aspirated smoke detection technology and provides localized fire risk management solutions for small, critical environments.
The manufacturer states that the VLF-500 monitors areas up to 500 m² (5380 sq. ft.) dependant on local codes and standards. Alert and Action are 0.025 - 2.0% obs/m, and Fire 1, Fire 2 are 0.025 - 20% obs/m. Up to 18 000 events stored.
Supply Voltage 24 VDC nominal (18 - 30 VDC), with Power Consumption at 24 VDC of 9.8 W nominal and 11.7 W in alarm. Dimensions (WHD) 256 mm x 183 mm x 92 mm, weight 2 kg and IP Rating IP30. Detector Ambient 0°C to 38°C and humidity (non-condensing) 5% to 95%. Air inlet pipe OD 25 mm, single pipe length 50 m max., and 5-8 sampling holes pre-engineered.
