Description

The Xtralis OSE-HPW is the High Power, Wired version of the OSID Emitter, the transmitting unit that an OSID Imager receives across an open area. Powered at 24 Vdc and supplied under ordering code FG-02-034, it sits within the OSID Emitter family for projected-beam smoke detection.

OSE-HPW is the wired, high-power emitter in the Xtralis OSID Open-area Smoke Imaging Detection projected-beam system. Running from a wired 24 Vdc supply, this emitter works with an OSID imager, and its high-power rating enables double the detection range reached on the OSI-90.

OSE-HPW is the wired, high-power emitter in the Xtralis OSID Open-area Smoke Imaging Detection projected-beam system. Running from a wired 24 Vdc supply, this emitter works with an OSID imager, and its high-power rating enables double the detection range reached on the OSI-90.

Working with the OSI-90 imager, which has an 80° field of view, OSE-HPW is rated for open spans of 12 to 68 metres, and a single OSI-90 can operate with up to seven emitters. That extended reach suits large open areas served by a wired power feed.

OSE-HPW is compatible with the OSID-EHE environmental housing, which shields the emitter from dust and water ingress, and with the OSID-WG wire guard for protection against impact. The OSE-ACF anti-condensation film keeps the emitter lens clear of condensation, and physical connection details are set out in the installation manual.
