The Honeywell HON-CGW-MBB CLSS Gateway bridges a compatible fire alarm control panel to the CLSS Cloud platform, securely connecting an on-premises system to the cloud, central station, mobile productivity tools and third-party services powered by CLSS. It operates from 18 V DC to 30 V DC drawing a typical 0.140A including its cellular module, with a typical wireless target power of 15 dBm. Supplied with enclosure it measures 7cm D x 20.37cm W x 26cm H and weighs 861.8g, operating across 0C to 49C and 1% to 93% non-condensing humidity.

Technical overview

The Honeywell CLSS Gateway (HON-CGW-MBB) bridges a compatible fire alarm control panel to the CLSS Cloud platform, securely linking an on-premises system to the cloud, central station, mobile productivity tools and third-party services powered by CLSS. Acting as a fire alarm communicator to the central station, it collects system data from the connected control panel and forwards it to the CLSS Cloud.

The Gateway connects directly to compatible Honeywell fire alarm control panels or panel networks, using either a wireless or wired link to the cloud, and supports standalone panels, networked panels and wider panel networks. Bluetooth mobile pairing allows configuration and control from Android and iOS devices, while the unit integrates with the CLSS Cloud Platform, the CLSS Web App and the CLSS Mobile App. Wireless communication spans the 802.11b/g/n/ac standards in the 2.4 GHz band, giving installers flexible options for how the on-site system reaches central monitoring.
