The Morley 796-178 is a replacement ZX5Se fire alarm control panel power supply for use on post-January 2010 panels only. It is the direct service replacement PSU for compatible ZX5Se panels. Supplied as the PSU only; this part does not come with a chassis plate.
Technical overview
796-178, Morley's spare PSU for the ZX5Se fire panel and a Fire Panel Spares entry in the Morley ZXSe Panels range, applies to panels built after January 2010. The compatibility note is explicit on the restriction: earlier ZX5Se builds fall outside the part's coverage. In service the spare acts as the direct replacement for the panel's original power supply once that unit needs changing.
All four ZX5Se control panels in the catalogue cross-references rely on this spare: 721-002-301 with its stainless steel door and bezel, the standard 721-001-301, and the 140 and 200 zone LED versions 721-001-140 and 721-001-200.
