The 721-002-301 is a Gent ZX5SE multi-protocol 1-5 loop intelligent fire alarm control panel built to the same specification as 721-001-301, completed with a stainless steel door and bezel. It runs from 230 V 50 Hz AC at up to 460 mA per loop, with an 8.6 A total PSU rating and provision for 2 x 24 Ah / 12 V standby batteries. The painted sheet steel enclosure is sealed to IP30, measures 500 x 500 x 195 mm and weighs 20 kg without batteries.
Technical overview
721-002-301 is the stainless steel variant of the Morley ZX5SE multi-protocol 1-5 loop intelligent fire alarm control panel in the ZXSe range, built to the same specification as 721-001-301 but with the door and bezel in stainless steel.
Loop capability runs to five loops with 460 mA available on each, and four sounder circuits sit alongside a 4 line display. Networking capability lets further ZXSe panels join a scalable platform, with as many as 99 supported on a single network. The panel follows Design to EN54 Parts 2 & 4, with simple integration with VA/PA and other systems.
Mains operation from 230 V 50 Hz AC feeds a PSU rated at 8.6 A in total, split between the panel electronics, loop drive, a printer feed and at least 2.2 A of charger current, sized for standby batteries of up to 2 x 24Ah/12V. A separate battery box remains necessary on the stainless steel build — the matching 797-078 — while the 796-162 five loop base PCB and the 796-178 spare PSU for post-January 2010 panels are listed as compatible.
