Description

The ZX5Se is an intelligent fire alarm control panel, and 721-001-200 is the multi-protocol 1-5 loop version with 200 zone LEDs. Protocol is chosen at the loop card: 795-066-100 for Apollo Discovery or XP95 protocols, 795-058-105 for Hochiki ESP protocol and 795-068-100 for System Sensor, each at 460mA. These cards allow ZXSe series control panels to support input/output points from Apollo, XP95 and Discovery, Hochiki ESP and System Sensor CLIP and Advanced series addressable devices.

Networking uses the 795-004-001 RS485 communication module, supporting two-wire RS485 multi-drop transmission between networked ZX2Se/ZXSe/ZX5Se control panels, between ZX series control panels and repeaters, or between ZX series control panels and serial peripheral devices. The 795-005 RS232 module supports a single point-to-point transmission between a ZX2Se/ZX5Se control panel and graphic front end. When using panels fitted with greater than 80 zonal LEDs use external printer 795-060-002.

721-001-200 is the ZX5SE MULTI-PROTOCOL 1-5 LOOP 200 ZONE LED CONTROL PANEL, an intelligent fire alarm control panel with networking capability, a 4 line display and 200 Zone LEDs.

Its mains input is 230V 50Hz AC, and power is handled by a 6 Amp PSU with 460mA loop capability, the loop side running 5 loop max. 460mA, alongside 4 sounder circuits. Loop cards are ordered separately. The languages available cover English, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Dutch, Slovenian and Croatian.

The ZX5Se enclosure is sheet steel painted, sealed to IP30, and 721-001-200 measures 500 mm x 500 mm x 195 mm. The ZX5Se weighs 20 kg without batteries, takes standby batteries of max. 2 x 24Ah/12V and operates from 0°C to +40°C at a relative humidity of max. 85% (non-condensing).
