Power comes in at AC 115 V - 230 V, 50 to 60 Hz, backed by 21.5 V - 28.8 V DC. Audio travels as VARIODYN® ONE ADPCM, sampled at 48 kHz, 24 bit, into electronically balanced AF outputs. The unit occupies 483 x 88 x 415 mm and works from -5°C to +55°C.

585000.31 is the DAL variant of the VARIODYN® ONE Intelligent Network Controller, model INC-D G2, an intelligent network controller with DAL module (8 DAL ports) and 14 GPIOs. Its 8 DAL bus inputs are there for intercoms and UIM, while the controller itself oversees amplifiers, speaker lines and call stations.

On the contact side there are 14 contact inputs/outputs, 10 ports configurable as input with supervision or output, and 4 relay outputs (normally open). Maximum contact input voltage is 24 V DC (over DAL Bus), against an input resistance of 10 k Ω. Contact outputs are rated for max. 50 mA load current at 24 V DC external voltage, and the relay outputs take 24 V DC/ 1 A with surge voltage resistance > 1.5 kV.

Amplifier and loudspeaker duties run to as many as 8 amplifier channels rated max. 500 W per channel, 5 A current per channel, max. 6 speaker line module slots at 8 speaker lines each, and 8 simultaneous audio streams per controller. Direct Drive or Relay Matrix operating modes apply, Advance DSP capability includes Delay and Parametric Equalizer, and built-in memory of 0.9 GB holds configuration and audio files.
