VARIODYN ONE 585000 INC Intelligent Network Controller

The Gent 585000 is the base Intelligent Network Controller (INC) for the VARIODYN® ONE PAVA system, serving as the main controller without optional modules fitted. It manages and monitors power amplifiers, speaker lines, and call stations, supporting up to 8 amplifier channels with a maximum of 500 W and 5 A per channel. The unit provides eight simultaneous audio paths and can scale from 8 to 48 speaker circuits through the addition of field-mountable Speaker Line Modules, with each module adding 8 circuits and up to six modules usable in a single INC. Operating in either Direct Drive or Relay Matrix modes, it offers flexible system design and includes built-in memory for configuration and audio files (0.9 GB, approximately 5 hours).

The controller features advanced DSP functionality per amplifier channel, enabling adjustment of volume, dynamic range control, delay, parametric equalizer, and high or low-pass filters. It also provides Modbus protocol over RS485 serial link for integration with third-party systems. The 585000 requires separate speaker line modules to enable speaker circuit functionality, as it ships without any base speaker circuits. Compatible variants include the INC-D G2 (585000.31) with DAL module, INC-Dante G2 (585000.32) with Dante module, and INC-A G2 (585000.33) with audio input/output module, all sharing the same 585000 base series.
