Description
585000 is the entry variant of the INC Generation 2 controller family, carrying no optional modules and sitting at the centre of a VARIODYN® ONE installation.
Loudspeaker capacity is built up from modules: max. 6 module slots each take 8 speaker lines, reaching 48 speaker circuits in all, and the accessory for that expansion is the SPKR-8 585020 8 Speaker Line Module. Line voltage is 70 V/100 V, with maximum switching voltage of 250 V AC, 5 A continuous current and min. 1.5 kV peak voltage resistance on the speaker lines.

Eight simultaneous audio streams run per controller. Direct Drive and Relay Matrix operating modes are both offered, an inbuilt Relay Matrix Mode included, and built-in memory holds configuration and audio files (0.9 GB/ 5 hrs.).

Engineers work through an intuitive display interface, backed by 0.9 GB of audio storage. Mains input is AC 115 V - 230 V (-15% to +10%) at 50 to 60 Hz, with backup drawn from 21.5 V - 28.8 V DC. The chassis measures 483 x 88 x 415 mm, weighs 11.9 - 12.45 kg, runs between -5°C and +55°C below 95% relative humidity, non-condensing, and stores at -40°C to +70°C.

Audio is encoded and decoded as VARIODYN® ONE ADPCM at 48 kHz, 24 bit, feeding electronically balanced AF outputs on 8 channels at 0 dBu nominal and +6 dBu maximum, 20 Hz to 20 kHz, ≤±1 dB, with THD < 0.03% at 1 kHz, better than 85 dB A-weighted, and a load impedance of Min. 5 kΩ, Max. 500 pF. Advance DSP capability covers Volume, Dynamic Range Control, Delay, Parametric Equalizer and High Pass /Low pass filters, while Modbus protocol over Serial link (RS485) opens the controller to a 3rd Party Modbus interface.
