The Xtralis VSP-983-W22 supplies the white 4mm surface-mount sampling point for the VESDA-E VEA aspirating smoke detection series in a pack of 22, screwed directly to the ceiling. Each patented sampling point and microbore tube is fully supervised and automatically cleaned by the detector, with a swivel joint for optimum tube orientation.
Technical overview
VSP-983-W22 groups twenty-two of the white 4mm surface-mount sampling points for the Xtralis VESDA-E VEA aspirating smoke detection series into a single ordering line.
Installation with these points keeps the pipework on the room side of the ceiling: each head fixes to the ceiling face with screws and the 4mm microbore tube travels along the ceiling within sight, an arrangement designed around premises whose ceiling voids permit only limited access.
Applications recorded for the series stretch from healthcare, education and office environments to prisons, apartments and electrical cabinets. Every patented head and the tube behind it remains fully supervised by the host detector, which also runs cleaning automatically, and a swivel joint accommodates the direction of each tube run.
