The Gent VSINTM-PCB02 is an installation replacement mains powered interface board for fitting into Mains Powered Interface Units. It provides a P3 mains wiring terminal block, P7 battery lead connector, loop, auxiliary output and sector/zone terminals (Zones 1-4), plus an SW1 power-up switch. Protection is via FS6 (T3.16A ceramic anti-surge) and FS8 (F3.16A quick blow) fuses.
Technical overview
VSINTM-PCB02 serves as the Gent by Honeywell installation replacement board for Mains Powered Interface Units, fitting part numbers S4-34440-02 and S4-34440-12 and applying equally to the Mains Powered Interface Unit Mk 3 within the S4 interfaces range.
Field wiring transfers onto dedicated positions on the replacement board: mains terminations land on the P3 block, the battery lead plugs in at P7, and separate terminal groups carry the loop, the auxiliary output and four sector/zone circuits. An SW1 switch performs power-up, and a plastic protective cover shields the electronics once the board is fitted.
Earthing continuity depends on the board fixing screws, which let the case reach a correct earth; full terminal-by-terminal wiring detail is reserved for the installation manual. After fitting, the loop is stopped, allocated and tested via the Test/Eng menu at the control panel. VSINTM-PCB12 stands as the companion replacement board, listed as the spare for the 2.5A S4-34440-12 interface.
