Gent S4-34845 Resettable Call Point, Protective Cover

S4-34845 is an analogue addressable manual call point from Gent by Honeywell, designed for use with Vigilon and Nano fire alarm systems. Its resettable element lets the unit be restored after testing without replacing parts, while the protective cover guards against accidental operation. An integral short-circuit isolator helps maintain loop integrity should a fault occur, and the device conforms to EN54 Parts 11 and 17.

In service, every call point is continuously supervised so that an activation is reported across the system in under a second. The unit presents a device load factor of 1, allowing up to 200 on a single loop, and draws proportionally more current when moving from its quiescent state into alarm. Fixing options cover both flush and surface installations, using either standard back boxes or dedicated red boxes where a surface finish is needed. Environmental protection is rated to IP43 as standard, rising to IP67 on the EP variant. The call point weighs approximately 0.11Kg and operates across a temperature range of -25°C to 70°C.
