The Gent S4-34600 is an LED driver board for special mimics, connecting to a Master Repeat Card which in turn links to the loop circuit of a Vigilon fire system. Each Mimic LED Driver Card can control up to 768 LEDs, with up to 1536 LEDs controlled using two cards. The Master Repeat Card is configured using the Mimic Configuration Tool; Blue and White LEDs are not suitable for use with this card.
Technical overview
The Gent by Honeywell S4-34600 is an LED driver board for special mimics, part of the Vigilon Plus Mimics and Repeats range. It connects to a Master Repeat Card, which in turn links to the loop circuit of a Vigilon fire system. A single card drives up to 768 LEDs, while a pair of cards raises the total to 1536. Blue and white LEDs should not be used with the driver card, as they are not suitable for this application.
The board suits Vigilon systems whose control panel runs the required MCC/MCB software. Physical wiring and terminal connections for the card are set out in the installation manual (Mimic LED driver leaflet 4188-951). A connection convertor (S4-34494) is required to interface the 26-core ribbon to a terminal block, and the board is commonly paired with the A3 Zonal and Graphic Mimic (VIG-MIM-A3).
