Morley BRH-PC-I00 Base Sounder Strobe VAD

BRH-PC-I00 is a Morley-IAS intelligent detector base sounder strobe, a loop-powered VAD in the Morley Addressable Devices range that builds a sounder and a red strobe into a detector base and operates in High Output Mode. Both alarm functions draw power from the fire panel over the loop wiring, and the device is also referenced under the alternative code MI-BRH-PC-I.

First fix is supported by a loop continuity spring, with large cable access taken from the rear or the surface, and the completed head then twist-fits onto the universal B501AP low-profile pure white base, remaining compatible with the older B501 base. The base position also mounts System Sensor detectors, the loop address is set on rotary wheels backed by address tags, and the modular construction means an individual component can be exchanged on its own rather than replacing the whole device.

In operation the sounder works from a global, approved set of 32 tones, chosen at the device or from the panel, while sounder and strobe stay in step through automatic synchronisation. Communications run on the System Sensor and Morley-IAS protocols, and backwards compatibility with the Honeywell Morley-IAS solution supports system extensions on legacy and new projects.

An EN54-17 Short circuit Isolator is integral to the device, alongside certification to EN54-3 (Sound) and EN54-23 (Light) — C Category as a ceiling-mount C-Category VAD. Manufacture complies with the Construction Products Regulation (CPR), alongside RoHS, WEEE and REACH environmental compliance.
