What it is and how it fits the system.
The Morley 797-062 is the ZX5Se intelligent fire alarm control panel from the Morley-IAS ZXSe range, scaling from one to five loops at 460mA per loop across up to 200 zones. It features 20 LED zonal indicators (up to 200 on special request), an internal sounder, an alphanumeric multi-level keypad and four programmable sounder outputs with open and short-circuit monitoring. Three serial ports and EN54-format relays support networked, multi-loop installations.
Technical overview
797-062 designates the ZX5Se, the multi-loop fire alarm control panel of the Morley-IAS ZXSe range, configurable from one to five detection loops with up to 460 mA available per loop and coverage of up to 200 zones.
The fascia pairs twenty zonal LED indicators, expandable to 200 on special request, with an alphanumeric multi-level keypad for programming and commands for sounding, silencing and resounding alarms, muting the buzzer, accepting events and resetting the system. An internal sounder is built in, four programmable sounder outputs carry open- and short-circuit monitoring at up to 1 A per output within a 1.3 A total load, and auxiliary relay provision follows EN54 format with one fault relay and one programmable relay.
Three serial ports accept optional RS485 or RS232 plug-in communication cards, and the 795-057 MODBUS interface unit needs the RS485 card fitted in the panel. Compatibility extends to internal and external printer options, a 40-way programmable mimic interface and 20 or 60 zone LED display indicator cards. ZXr-P passive and ZXr-A active repeaters carry indication away from the panel, the 797-064 glass door kit recesses the controls behind a plexiglass window within the existing enclosure, and the 797-078 battery box and 797-077 bezel kit round out the mounting options.
