The Morley 797-064 is a ZX5Se intelligent fire alarm control panel within the Morley-IAS ZXSe range, configurable from one to five loops at 460mA per loop across up to 200 zones. It provides 20 LED zonal indicators (up to 200 on special request), an internal sounder and four programmable, fully monitored sounder outputs. EN54-format relays and three serial ports support integration into larger fire systems.

Technical overview

797-064 refers to a Morley-IAS ZX5Se Fire Alarm Control Panel in the ZXSE range and anchors a broad set of ZX5Se fitting options, being listed alongside a glass door kit, a bezel kit and the ZX5SE battery box. One to five loops can be driven, each held within a 460 mA ceiling, across a maximum of 200 zones.

LED type zonal indication covers fire, fault, text and disabled states — twenty positions in the base configuration, rising to 200 on special request — and the panel carries its own internal sounder. User control runs from Sound Alarms through to System Reset, with programming handled on an alphanumeric multi-level keypad; output duty rests on four supervised programmable sounder circuits and EN54-format relay provision.

Communication expands through three serial ports for the optional RS485 or RS232 plug-in cards, and the 795-057 MODBUS interface unit requires the RS485 card to be in place. The wider hardware list spans PCB-only modules — 4-way relay, 8-way input, 4-way sounder, a 40-way programmable mimic interface and the Hi-485 communication module — plus 20-zone and 60-zone LED display indicator cards, internal and external remote printer options, a Morley-IAS 460 mA loop driver card and a USB isolated upload/download lead. Remote indication falls to the ZXr-P passive repeater, the ZXr-A active repeater adds key-switch-activated silence, reset, mute and evacuate-all controls, and terminal connections and physical wiring belong to the installation manual.
