6500-MMK Multi-Mount Kit for Beam Detectors & Reflectors

The 6500-MMK is a multi-mount kit within the Conventional Beam Detection 6500 Range, intended as an accessory for the reflected beam detectors and reflectors in that family. Rather than needing a dedicated flat surface, it secures both the head unit and its paired reflector against a wall or ceiling. The kit also widens the alignment window available to the installer, which becomes important when the detector and reflector fall outside the roughly 10° pairing tolerance.

Where the reflector ends up beyond that angle relative to the transmitter/receiver unit, the kit lets the head unit be turned further to recover a usable line-up on difficult sites. It is likewise called for when the head unit is taken to its wall or ceiling position using flexible conduit, in which case fitting the kit is mandatory. Terminal-by-terminal wiring sits outside this accessory's scope and is documented in the installation manual instead.
