Description

The 4015-509-YFR is a Power-Sonic PS-1230 rechargeable sealed lead-acid battery for standby power in fire and security systems. It supplies a nominal 12 V and 3.4Ah at the 20-hour rate and is used in Xenex 8 zone and FP595 8 zone panels. The -YFR order code denotes the flame-retardant (FR) case configuration. The PS-1230 has an ABS case (UL94 HB or V-0 optional), with the flame-retardant case available as an option, not the default. It measures 134.0 x 60.0 x 66.0 mm (L x W x H) and weighs 1.35 kg. The series has a float service life of 5 years. We supply it as a standalone standby cell.

The 4015-509-YFR is the flame-retardant configuration of the Power-Sonic PS-1230. Nominal voltage is 12.0 Volts and nominal capacity is 3.4Ah at the 20-hour rate.

The battery measures 134.0 x 60.0 x 66.0 mm (L x W x H), with a tolerance of +/- 2 mm on length, width and height. Approximate weight is 1.35 kg. The VdS variants have a separate weight of 2.98lbs, (1.35kg).

Approximate internal resistance is 45.0 milliohms. The operating temperature range is −20°C to 40°C on charge and −15°C to 50°C on discharge. Maximum short-circuit discharge current is 98.0A. The recommended charger is the Power-Sonic PSC-12500ACX.

The case material is ABS (UL94 HB or V-0 optional). The PS-1230 has a flame-retardant case option; this is not the default case configuration.

Configuration options are PS-1230 F1, PS-1230 F1 VDS, PS-1230 FR F1 and PS-1230 FR F1 VDS. The FR configurations have flame-retardant cases.
