Description

The 4015-501-YFR is a Power-Sonic PS-1270 rechargeable sealed lead-acid battery for standby power in fire and security systems. It supplies 12 V and 7.0Ah and is used in Vigilon and Sentri repeat panels, Nano and Sentri1 panels. The -YFR order code denotes the flame-retardant (FR) case configuration. The PS-1270 has an ABS case (UL94 HB or V-0 optional), with the flame-retardant case available as an option, not the default. It measures 151.0 x 65.0 x 94.0 mm (L x W x H) and weighs 1.97 kg. The series has a float service life of 5 years. We supply it as a standalone standby cell.

The 4015-501-YFR is the flame-retardant configuration of the Power-Sonic PS-1270. Nominal voltage is 12.0 Volts and nominal capacity is 7.0Ah at the 20-hour rate.

The battery measures 151.0 x 65.0 x 94.0 mm (L x W x H), with a tolerance of +/- 2 mm on length, width and height. Overall height to the terminal tops is 100.0 mm. Approximate weight is 1.97 kg; the VdS variants have a separate weight of 5.1lbs, (2.3kg).

Approximate internal resistance is 33.0 milliohms. The operating temperature range is −20°C to 40°C on charge and −15°C to 50°C on discharge.

The case material is ABS (UL94 HB or V-0 optional). The PS-1270 has a flame-retardant case option; this is not the default case configuration.

Configuration options are PS-1270 F1, PS-1270 F1 VDS, PS-1270 F2, PS-1270 FR F1, PS-1270 FR F1 VDS and PS-1270 FR F2 VDS. The FR configurations have flame-retardant cases.
