The XCL-SC-CH4 is the replacement gas sensor cartridge for combustible gas detection (CAT, % LEL) in the VESDA Sensepoint XCL Large Bore aspirating gas detector. As a field-replaceable element, it restores full combustible-gas sensing without changing the detector unit.
Technical overview
XCL-SC-CH4 is the Xtralis replacement gas sensor cartridge for combustible gas detection in the VESDA Sensepoint XCL Large Bore aspirating gas detector, part of the Gas Detection XCL range. The sensing element is CAT type, reporting combustible concentration as a percentage of the lower explosive limit, and fitting a fresh cartridge restores combustible-gas sensing without changing the detector unit itself. Recorded compatibility covers XCL-LB-CH4-RM, the XCL Flammable 100 %LEL detector build with Modbus and relay outputs. Wiring guidance for physical connections is carried by the host detector's installation manual.
