Description

The XCL-LB-CH4-RM is a VESDA Sensepoint XCL Large Bore methane (CH4) gas detector covering 0-100% LEL. With Modbus digital output and an onboard relay, it reports combustible-gas levels over a networked bus while providing local switching for alarm and control.

XCL-LB-CH4-RM puts combustible-gas monitoring on a Modbus network: an Xtralis VESDA Sensepoint XCL Large Bore detector for methane (CH4), it measures 0 to 100% LEL and backs digital reporting with an on-board relay, so a single unit feeds the bus and still switches local alarm and control circuits.

The XCL-SC-CH4 catalytic flammable sensor is the listed replacement for the CH4 0 to 100% LEL sensing element, and the Large Bore accessory set runs to XCL-M20-CG cable glands in packs of ten, the XCL-LB-CAP flow cap and XCL-LB-ELB 60-degree elbows in packs of four.

Configuration runs through the Sensepoint App, which the fault-troubleshooting steps also reference for reconfiguration, while wiring and physical connections are covered in the installation manual for the Large Bore range.
