The XCL-LB-CO2VV-RM is a VESDA Sensepoint XCL Large Bore carbon dioxide (CO2) gas detector with a 5% V/V measuring range. Its Modbus output and onboard relay deliver networked CO2 reporting alongside local alarm switching on Large Bore aspirated sampling systems.
Technical overview
XCL-LB-CO2VV-RM is the Modbus-and-relay version of the Xtralis VESDA Sensepoint XCL Large Bore carbon dioxide gas detector, monitoring concentrations up to 5% V/V. Readings travel over the Modbus connection while the onboard relay switches local alarm circuits, letting a single Large Bore unit feed networked reporting and hard-wired signalling at once.
Configuration and any later reconfiguration run through the Sensepoint App; the same tool is used to restore a unit that reports EEPROM or Flash memory faults. Cell renewal relies on the XCL-SC-CO2VV replacement sensor cartridge, the listed spare for this detector.
