Description
The XCL-LB-CH4-RA is a VESDA Sensepoint XCL Large Bore gas detector for methane (CH4), measuring across a 0-100% LEL range. It delivers a 4-20mA analogue output with relay, integrating directly into combustible-gas monitoring systems on Large Bore aspirated sampling networks.
XCL-LB-CH4-RA pairs methane detection across 0 to 100% LEL with a 4-20mA analogue output and relay, serving as a flammable-gas detector in the Xtralis VESDA Sensepoint XCL Large Bore family. The analogue build ties directly into combustible-gas monitoring systems on Large Bore aspirated sampling networks and carries one wiring particular of its own: a loopback resistor must be connected correctly, since the detector's diagnostics flag an mA output failure (Fault 9) when it is not.

Commissioning changes go through the Sensepoint App, which is also the recovery route the troubleshooting guidance names for Fault 4 and Fault 7 conditions.
For upkeep, the XCL-SC-CH4 replacement sensor renews the catalytic flammable sensing element, while companion accessories for a Large Bore installation take in the XCL-LB-CAP flow cap, XCL-M20-CG cable glands and XCL-LB-ELB 60-degree pipe elbows.
