Description

This is the single cartridge used by VEU, VEP and VES detectors; it can be changed in the field and provides coarse particle filtering. Optical protection from clean air barriers, together with effective filtration, is what ensures lifetime detection performance.

The body is 40 mm x 72 mm x 53 mm (1.57 in x 2.83 in x 2.0 in). Dust count and remaining filter life are held by a smart on-board filter, which makes maintenance predictable. Backward compatibility with GA2 and GA3 VESDA-E baselines is carried by the new filter, and action has been taken to improve the life of the VESDA-E filter to provide increased longevity over the previous one. The cartridge cannot be cleaned; a new one must be used in its place.

VSP-962 is the VESDA-E VEP/VEU/VES Filter Cartridge, a single cartridge for VEU/VEP/VES detectors and one of the field replaceable parts of a VESDA-E detector.
