Description

The Xtralis VSP-877-B is the black version of the Flush Mount Sampling Point, a functionally and aesthetically improved alternative to the conical sampling point for Xtralis aspirating smoke detection pipe networks. Its flush-mount black finish blends discreetly into ceilings while feeding sample air into the ASD pipe network.

The black point serves Xtralis aspirating smoke detection pipe networks and provides a standard solution across the full set of Xtralis aspirating smoke detectors.

Mounting relies on the wing-lock arrangement: the point goes in from below the ceiling, so fixed ceilings with no access from above present no obstacle, and the wing-lock height adjusts to match different ceiling panel thicknesses. On the sampling side, the pilot hole is drilled out to whatever the system design calculations require.

Capillary tube sizes from 6 mm up to ½” cover various regional requirements, and the optional VSP-878 push-in connect adaptor kit strengthens the connection for the Americas where larger-diameter ½” capillary tubing is used. In the VESDA pipe fittings ordering information the white head-only version appears as VSP-877, and the installation instructions must be followed to ensure full functionality.
