The Gent VSINTM-PCB-UPG is a replacement Mains Interface Board on a carrier, installed into a legacy 34440 Mains Powered Interface Unit. It is factory-configured with all four channels as Sector outputs, supports Zone inputs and Sector outputs (1-4), uses 2 x 12V 2.1Ah batteries and provides a 0.25A auxiliary output. Protected by FS6 (T3.16A ceramic anti-surge) and FS8 (F3.16A quick blow) fuses, it ships with a spares pack of resistors and capacitors.
Technical overview
VSINTM-PCB-UPG is a Gent by Honeywell replacement Mains Interface Board on a carrier, designed as a drop-in for a legacy 34440 Mains Powered Interface Unit, where it takes the place of the discarded original 34440 board. It arrives factory-configured with all four channels set as Sector outputs, while still accepting Zone inputs across channels 1 to 4, and it provides a 0.25A auxiliary output. On-board protection is handled by the FS6 (T3.16A ceramic anti-surge) and FS8 (F3.16A quick blow) fuses, and the assembly runs from two 12V 2.1Ah batteries.
Setup is carried out with the S4 Interface Programmer kit (S4-INTERFACE-PROG) at V1.03 or greater, and the board works alongside IS Galvanic isolators 17740-30 and 02518-10. Each Sector output can drive an inductive load such as a relay via a DIN rail for optional octal-type relays. Terminal wiring — mains, loop, zone, sector, auxiliary and battery connections — is set out in the installation manual (document reference 4188-1005 issue 1_03/11).
