The Gent S3EP-VAD-HPR-R is an environmentally protected (EP) high-performance loop-powered visual alarm device with a red strobe and red body. It carries a load factor of 10 per device, allowing up to 100 units to be installed per loop. Designed for wall mounting within the S3 Sounders & VADs range, it provides visual alarm signalling in demanding environments.
When installed in a Nano panel based system, all 'High perform.' S-Cubed devices revert to LOW VAD performance, meaning only the LOW VAD setting is used. The device requires an EMC compliant loop cable carrying both data and power, with approved options including Draka Firetuf FT120 Enhanced, Datwyler Pyrofil Enhanced, MICC to BS6207:Part 1, and Prysmian FP PLUS. Maximum loop cable usage is limited to 1km per circuit, and the loop must not exceed 10,000m² of floor area. It supersedes the S2IP-ST-RR model.
