PIP-006 is a red 25 mm 45° elbow for aspirating smoke detection pipework, an ABS fitting in the Pipework, Fittings & Fixtures range whose 45° sweep gives a sampling run a gradual change of direction. Each EU pack runs to ten elbows.
Placement within the 25 mm ASD pipework range puts the elbow alongside PIP-001 pipe, the PIP-002 socket, the PIP-007 end cap, the PIP-008 equal tee and the PIP-005 90° slow radius bend, with the 45° angle serving turns shallower than the 90° bend covers.
White and grey versions of the same elbow appear as PIP-006-W and PIP-006-G, and legacy cross-references tie the red part to code 530-C45. PIP-006 supersedes RED45-10, and physical connection detail is carried in the installation manual rather than the specification tables.
