Description
The PIP-008 is a 25 mm equal tee pipe fitting (T-piece) supplied in a pack of 10 in red, for aspirated smoke detection pipework. It branches a 25 mm ASD sampling run into two equal legs and is also offered in white (PIP-008-W) and grey (PIP-008-G).
PIP-008, a red 25 mm equal tee for aspirating smoke detection pipework in the Pipework, Fittings & Fixtures range, is the T-piece specifically called for when the VSP-860 or VSP-860-US Refrigerated Storage Sampling Kit is installed: guidance for those kits states, 'Please ensure PIP-008 (T-Piece) is also used.'
Read the full technical description
Within a sampling network the fitting branches a 25 mm run into two equal legs, creating a junction wherever the pipework needs to divide. The red tee is EU-listed in packs of 10.
Colour-matched alternatives keep a branch consistent with the rest of a run: PIP-008-W serves white pipework and PIP-008-G grey, both EU 25 mm equal tees in packs of 10. PIP-008 supersedes the earlier REDTP-10, with physical connections covered by the installation manual.
