What it is and how it fits the system.
The Li-ion Tamer Interface Module UL is the interface module of the Li-ion Tamer Sensor Multi Output Solution (MOS), monitoring the off-gas sensor and integrating its output signals for lithium-ion battery monitoring. It runs on a 15-32VDC input (typical 24VDC) and provides 3 relay outputs plus MODBUS and CANBUS communication. Measuring 140 x 85 x 34 mm, each module supports one sensor with MODBUS at 9600 baud and CANBUS at 500K.
Technical overview
LT-SEN-IM-UL carries the ordering description Li-ion Tamer Interface Module UL and forms the interface-module component of the Li-ion Tamer Sensor Multi Output Solution (MOS) for lithium-ion battery monitoring. The module belongs to both MOS assemblies: LT-SEN-MOS pairs it with the LT-SEN-M Gen 2+ off-gas sensor, and LT-SEN-MOS-C49 pairs it with the LT-SEN-M-C49 sensor variant. In either build, one module monitors one off-gas sensor installed at the battery racks or cabin, and integrates its output signals.
Three relays carry the alarm1, alarm2 and fault functions, with alarm outputs latching until reset or until a command is sent to release them. MODBUS and CANBUS communication is available alongside the relay outputs, and an RJ45 connection supplies operating power to the attached sensor. LED indication reports state: green blinking through initialisation, steady green in normal running, steady red in alarm and steady yellow on a sensor fault.
Certification as a fire alarm system module is to UL864 10th, joined by ULC S527, FM 6540, Safety UL61010-1, RoHS EN50581-2002, EMI EN55011-2010 and EMC EN61326-1-2021. Physical wiring for the RJ45 sensor connection, relay outputs and MODBUS/CANBUS terminals is detailed in the installation manual.
