FS24X Plus FS24XP-SMGXX 3IR Flame Detector, Stainless

FS24XP-SMGXX is a mounting kit designed for flame detection systems within the Detector range. It consists of a mount and sunshade intended for use with stainless steel housing detectors featuring M25 conduit entries. The kit supports installation of detectors using WideBand IR (3IR) technology, which provides a 90-degree cone of vision with an option for 120-degree coverage at 50% of the on-axis range.

It is compatible with SM4 stainless steel swivel mounting assemblies and SH-001 stainless steel sunshades, enabling secure positioning in hazardous or industrial environments. The kit facilitates deployment of detectors equipped with HART and Modbus communication, 4-20 mA analog outputs, and relay outputs for alarm, fault and auxiliary functions. Detectors used with this kit include event logging with real-time clock, FirePic pre-fire data storage, and automatic self-test of optical path and electronics. Status is indicated by a high-visibility LED HALO ring that displays green for normal operation, yellow for fault or warning, and red for alarm conditions. The mounting kit is intended for use with detectors holding FM, ATEX and CE mark approvals, IEC61508 SIL 2 certification, and marine certifications including DNV, MED, USCG, ABS, BV and Lloyds.
