Description
The System Sensor B524IEFT-1 detector isolator base is designed for use with all 200 and 500 series of analogue addressable detectors, isolating the part of the loop containing the short. Base Diameter 102 mm, Base Height 26 mm, Operating Voltage 15 to 28.5 V, Standby Current < 100 µA @ 24 V, to EN 54-17: 2005.

The B524IEFT-1 is the System Sensor detector isolator base, designed for use with all 200 and 500 series of analogue addressable detectors.
It prevents an entire communications loop from being disabled when a short circuit occurs, by isolating that part of the loop containing the short from the remainder of the circuit.
Base diameter is 102 mm and base height 26 mm. Operating temperature range is -30°C to 70°C, operating humidity range 0% to 95% relative humidity (non-condensing), operating voltage 15 to 28.5 V, standby current < 100 µA @ 24 V and isolation current 15 mA, to EN 54-17: 2005.
The base has mounting holes for fixing to installation boxes with either 2" or 60 mm hole spacing. For surface mounting, the thin walled sections visible from the back of the base on the outer diameter are cut and remove. A tamper-resist feature prevents its removal from the base without the use of a tool.
