The 19106-02 is a timer on an octal base with a 2-32 second range, configured for delay-on-energise (DOE) operation at 24V DC and supplied complete with its base. It provides timed switching for control and signalling applications within conventional systems.
Technical overview
The 19106-02 delays contact operation for a preset interval once its circuit is energised, providing timed switching for control and signalling duties in conventional fire alarm systems. This delay-on-energise behaviour suits applications where an output must be held back briefly before a relay or signal follows.
It forms part of the equipment used to interface existing conventional 24V DC fire alarm systems to higher-level panels: System 32000 through a 32440 mains-powered interface, 3400 systems through a 34440 interface, or Vigilon through a VIG-INT-MAINS interface. Within these interface assemblies it is fitted alongside a 19104-52 relay, a 4104-042 zener diode and two diode units to build the delayed signalling or control logic.
