Description
XCL-VEA-CO2VV-RA brings percentage-level carbon dioxide monitoring into a VESDA-E VEA microbore tube network. Each VEA tube goes at least 15mm (0.6 in) inside its flexible tube.
Signals feed PLCs, HVAC, BMS or FACP. The enclosure weighs 500 g at 113 x 113 x 59 mm, humidity tolerance runs 0 to 99% (non-condensing), atmospheric pressure of 95 to 110 kPa is within scope, storage held between 0 °C and +30 °C, and operation runs from −20 °C to +50 °C.

It is a factory calibrated unit built for in-line service inside a VESDA-E VEA microbore tube network, linked through flexible tubes onto micro bore tube of 6 mm (1/4”) OD.
The analogue side gives an analog output of 0 to 22 mA. Relay switching is rated 5 A at 24 V DC / 240 V AC across two contacts, and the relays themselves are configurable. Power arrives as 24 VDC nominal within 11 to 32V DC, or as 24V AC 50/60Hz (20 to 27 VAC); inrush at 24V DC does not exceed 850 mA and a carbon dioxide head draws up to 1.7W on the analogue branch, the relay version adding 0.6W total.

Chemical and pharmaceutical plants, food and beverage sites, refrigerated systems (leak detection) and laboratories are typical settings. Sealing is IP65, Type 4 (NEMA 250) in a polycarbonate (charcoal colour) shell, and integral alarm status LEDs sit on the unit. Wiring lands on pluggable rising clamp terminals sized 0.5 to 1.5 mm², while a Bluetooth 4.0 (Bluetooth Low Energy) interface is present for local work.
