Description

The XCL-VEA-CO-RM is a VESDA Sensepoint XCL aspirated carbon monoxide (CO) gas detector that inserts in-line into a VESDA-E VEA micro bore tube network, set to 300ppm and adjustable from 50 to 1000ppm. It provides Modbus RTU output plus relays, draws 0.7 W on 24V DC, and is housed in an IP65-rated 113 x 113 x 59 mm polycarbonate enclosure.

XCL-VEA-CO-RM is an Xtralis VESDA Sensepoint XCL aspirated carbon monoxide detector for the VESDA-E VEA microbore tube network, built in the Modbus-and-relay output configuration. Reporting over RS 485 Modbus brings VSC and VSM4 integration for remote access to detectors, alongside connections into fire alarm control panels, PLCs, HVAC and building management systems.

Set-up uses a compatible smart device running iOS 10 or Android 4.3 or above, connecting over Bluetooth at up to 10 m depending on the mobile device, and integral LEDs give local alarm indication. The detector draws from the VEA's 6 mm micro bore tubing through flexible tube couplings, sitting in-line within the network.

Sensor spares use the XCL-XRL-SC-CO cartridge, a part shared with XRL detectors. The XCL-VEA-CAL calibration and flow cap, XCL-FILTER filter packs, XCL-M20-CG cable glands and XCL-COVER sensor cover are the listed accessories, with XCL-VEA-TUB as the tubing interface for VEA. Electrical safety conformity is to EN/UL/IEC61010-1 with certification to CSA-C22.2 No. 61010-1-12, and physical wiring detail is held in the installation manual.
