Description

The XCL-LB-NH3-RM is the Modbus RTU version of the VESDA Sensepoint XCL Large Bore ammonia (NH3) gas detector, fitted with two programmable relays. Designed for multi-hole cumulative ASD pipe-network sampling, it runs on 24V DC/AC, operates from -20 to +50°C and carries an IP65 (Type 4 / NEMA 250) rating in a 113 x 113 x 59 mm housing.

XCL-LB-NH3-RM carries the Modbus RTU output stage of the Xtralis VESDA Sensepoint XCL Large Bore ammonia (NH3, ppm) gas detector, an ASD pipe-network unit that draws its air sample from continuous pipe flow. Two programmable relays accompany the digital interface, and the Modbus RTU connection integrates readings into BMS, fire alarm panels, PLC and HVAC systems.

Approvals are listed as EN/UL/IEC 61010-1; CSA-C22.2 Nr. 61010-1-12; CE - EMC; EN 50270; RED, FCC, BT SIG. For routine work, the gas sensor cartridge is field-replaceable - XCL-SC-NH3 is the ammonia replacement - and an integral gas connection supports function testing and calibration, while the Sensepoint App works over Bluetooth to speed up commissioning, maintenance and service.

Catalogued accessories cover the XCL-LB-ELB 60-degree bend in a four-pack and the XCL-LB-FLT-1 filter cartridge for NH3 and CO2 duty in a ten-pack, with terminal-by-terminal wiring set out in the installation manual.
