The XCL-LB-H2S-RM is a VESDA Sensepoint XCL Large Bore hydrogen sulphide (H2S) gas detector covering a 50PPM range. With Modbus output and an integral relay, it reports H2S levels across a networked bus while providing local alarm and control switching.
Technical overview
XCL-LB-H2S-RM pairs a Modbus interface with an on-board relay in the Xtralis VESDA Sensepoint XCL Large Bore hydrogen sulphide gas detector, covering a 50PPM measuring range. Readings travel across a networked bus while the relay provides local alarm and control switching, and the Sensepoint App configures the unit — reconfiguration through the app is also the recovery route for EEPROM or Flash memory faults.
Servicing relies on dedicated parts: the XCL-SC-H2S replacement sensor renews the 50PPM hydrogen sulphide cell, the XCL-LB-COV-2 sensor cover is the version shared by the CO, O2, H2S, NO2 and H2 variants, and the matching XCL-LB-FLT-2 filter is packaged in tens.
Pipework and installation accessories listed for this detector include the XCL-LB-CAP flow cap, XCL-LB-ELB 60-degree elbows in packs of four and XCL-M20-CG cable glands, with physical connection detail held in the VESDA Sensepoint XCL – Large Bore Installation Manual.
