Description
The XCL-LB-CO-RA is a VESDA Sensepoint XCL Large Bore carbon monoxide (CO) gas detector with a 300PPM range. Its 4-20mA analogue output and relay make it straightforward to wire into toxic-gas monitoring and alarm circuits on Large Bore sampling networks.

XCL-LB-CO-RA is built around an electrochemical cell that reads carbon monoxide across a 300 ppm range, packaged as an Xtralis VESDA Sensepoint XCL Large Bore gas detector with a 4-20mA analogue output and relay. Both outputs suit wiring into toxic-gas monitoring and alarm circuits: the analogue loop carries the measurement, while the relay switches local alarms directly.
On the electrical side, the analogue signal can be wired for either current-sinking or current-sourcing operation, leaving the loop convention to the controller end, and the relay is rated to switch loads at 5 A whether the circuit runs at 250 V AC or 24 V DC. Compliance pairs EN 50270:2015 for EMC with UL 61010-1, CSA C22.2 No. 61010-1, IEC/EN 61010-1 for electrical safety, and the electronics are housed in an IP65-rated enclosure.
In service, the Sensepoint App handles configuration and reconfiguration, the XCL-XRL-SC-CO replacement sensor renews the carbon monoxide cell, and wiring guidance comes from the Large Bore installation manual.
