Description

How many Connection Tokens are required is worked out by the software, and VSM4 keeps the licensing status of the product in front of the user at all times through its Help/About dialogs.

VSW-346 covers a VESDAnet/Modbus RS-485 Network Connection, the Xtralis capacity part for network connections in a VSM4 monitoring system. A VESDAnet Network Connection is made to an HLI and includes all displays and other VESDA devices except detectors, which is what separates it from a detector connection: a Detector Connection includes all inserted cards. Monitoring capacity is worked out from the types and quantities of Network Connections and Detector Connections a system carries.
