The Xtralis VSP-982-W22 supplies the white 6mm surface-mount sampling point for the VESDA-E VEA aspirating smoke detection series in a pack of 22, designed for use where access to the ceiling void is limited and microbore tubes are run visibly along the ceiling. Each patented sampling point is fully supervised, and the end-to-end supervision combined with system integrity monitoring reduces maintenance.
Technical overview
VSP-982-W22 is the 22-pack ordering code for the white 6mm surface-mount sampling point used across Xtralis VESDA-E VEA aspirating smoke detection systems. Xtralis puts the servicing case for these points in numbers: with every point watched end to end and the integrity of the whole system monitored, upkeep of a VEA installation takes 90% less time than typical spot detection demands.
The surface-mount format targets premises where the ceiling void is difficult to enter. Heads screw straight to the ceiling and the microbore tubing runs in view along it, a layout the series documents for settings from healthcare, offices and education through retail, prisons, apartments and residential use to electrical cabinets.
