Description
The Xtralis VSP-982-B22 supplies the black 6mm surface-mount sampling point for the VESDA-E VEA aspirating smoke detection series in a pack of 22, screwed directly to the ceiling with microbore tubes run along the surface. Each patented sampling point is fully supervised and automatically cleaned by the detector, with a swivel joint for optimum tube orientation.

VSP-982-B22 is the 22-piece pack of the black 6mm surface-mount sampling point for Xtralis VESDA-E VEA aspirating smoke detection systems. The pack format serves VEA layouts taking multiple points in the black finish, each point accepting a 6mm microbore tube run back to the detector.
Fixing is by screws straight onto the face of the ceiling, so the tube travels across the surface in open view of the space below - an arrangement intended for buildings where the void above a ceiling offers little or no access.
In service, every patented point and the microbore tube feeding it stays under the continuous watch of the VEA detector, which also carries out cleaning of the points automatically. A swivel joint on each head takes up whatever tube angle the run demands, and the VSP-978 sample point head removal key appears alongside these packs in the ordering information.
