Description

Blind mounting is what this standard sampling point allows: once the microbore tubes are installed and passed through the ceiling, there is no need to go into the ceiling void again. The pack carries 22 points, all with a 6mm inlet.

The design assumes a ceiling with a void, the tubes running above and the points set into the ceiling below. Each point is held by a screw driven into the ceiling, or by a retainer instead, and a swivel joint at the inlet leaves the tube free to be oriented flexibly.

Every patented VEA sampling point and its microbore tube is fully supervised by the detector.

VSP-980-W22 is a pack of 22 VESDA-E VEA 6mm Standard Sampling Points, each taking a 6mm inlet to suit appropriate microbore tubes. These points are made for a ceiling with a void: the microbore tubes run in the void and the points themselves sit in the ceiling. Fixing is by screw into the ceiling or by a retainer. Each inlet carries a swivel joint, so the tube can be flexibly oriented. The standard sampling points allow blind mounting, removing any need to access the ceiling void once the microbore tubes are installed and passed through the ceiling. Each patented VEA sampling point and microbore tube is fully supervised by the detector.
