The Xtralis VSP-980-W22 supplies the white 6mm standard sampling point for the VESDA-E VEA addressable early-warning detection series in a pack of 22, designed for ceilings with a void where microbore tubes are run. Each patented sampling point is fully supervised and automatically cleaned by the detector, with a swivel-joint inlet for flexible tube orientation and blind-mount installation.
Technical overview
VSP-980-W22 is the twenty-two-piece ordering code for the white 6mm standard sampling point used with Xtralis VESDA-E VEA aspirating smoke detectors. Each point presents a 6mm inlet to the microbore air-sampling tube serving it.
Every patented point in the pack, together with the microbore tube connected to it, remains under the supervision of the VEA detector, and the detector also performs automated cleaning of each point.
Fitting follows the standard-point layout: tube concealed in the ceiling void, white heads presented in the room below. A point can be screwed to the ceiling or seated in a ceiling tile using the retainer, blind mounting keeps the void untouched after the tube goes in, and the inlet's swivel joint leaves tube orientation flexible.
