VSP-974 is the rotary valve mechanism kept as a spare for VESDA-E VEA aspirating smoke detectors, the válvula giratoria in Spanish and the Klepmechanisme in Dutch. It is specified for the VESDA-E VEA family, including the VEA-040-A00 and the VEA-040-A10. The valve is one of the components - with the filtro, the módulo de sensor de humos and the bomba - that are sustituibles in situ, replaceable in place, which shortens repairs and eases maintenance.
