Description

VSP-973 is the spare pump for the VESDA-E VEA aspirating smoke detector. The aspirator it stands in for is a linear vacuum pump, a bomba de vacío lineal in Spanish and a lineaire vacuümpomp in Dutch.

Because the VEA's pump is field-replaceable, the part can be changed on an installed VEA-040-A00 or VEA-040-A10. It is one item within the VEA spare-parts set, which also takes in the mounting bracket, the smoke sensor module, the filter, the rotary valve and the cable harnesses under separate codes, and VSP-973 identifies the pump alone.
